Aerial BioPharma Lands New Venture Capital Funding

   Morrisville, North Carolina  --  Pharmaceutical company Aerial BioPharma has received $5.7 million in new venture capital equity financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Aerial is pursuing drug development efforts in the narcolepsy, pain management and nausea/vomiting treatment areas.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Aerial is still seeking $6.3 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
