GIBBS Announces High-Speed Sports Amphibian

   Detroit, Michigan  --  Marine technology company GIBBS has unveiled what it calls the world's first high-speed sports amphibian vehicle.

Called the GIBBS Quadski, the vehicle can transition from land to water in 5 seconds as its wheels retract and can travel up to speeds of 45 mph on both land and water.

The vehicle weighs 1,300 pounds, is equipped with a 175 hp BMW engine and transmission and will retail for approximately $40,000.
