Cebix Collects Second Institutional VC Round

   La Jolla, California  --  Biotechnology company Cebix has landed $30.9 million in series B round of venture capital financing.

Cebix is developing chronic replacement therapy for the treatment of type I diabetic neuropathy.

Sofinnova Ventures, InterWest Partners and Thomas, McInerney & Partners made the investment.

The company will use the financing to fund its Phase 2b trials.
