Cobalt Technologies Nets New Venture Capital

Mountain View, California  --  Alternative energy company Cobalt Technologies has received $972,000 in additional venture capital equity and debt, according to an SEC filing.

Cobalt is developing technologies that make commercial scale biobutanol from biomass.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Cobalt is still seeking $2.78 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
