LifeMap Sciences Launches New Human Disease Database

   Alameda, California  --  LifeMap Sciences has announced the launch of a new human disease database.

Called MalaCards, the database is based on the company's GeneCards platform, which contains computerized, genetic marker information.

The company believes that the new research service will assist researchers "in studying the roles of genes and cells in disease processes."
