Aclaris Therapeutics Nets First Venture Capital Round

   Malvern, Pennsylvania  --  Pharmaceutical company Aclaris Therapeutics has secured $21 million in series A venture capital financing.

Aclaris is a specialty pharmaceutical firm that aims to develop novel topical dermatological therapies.

Vivo Ventures and Fidelity Biosciences led the round, which also included Sofinnova Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to continue development of its candidate pipeline.
