Advanced Cell Nets $12 Million Venture Capital

   Hayward, California  --  Advanced Cell Diagnostics has secured $12 million in its second round of venture capital financing.

Advanced Cell is developing cell- and tissue-based diagnostic tests for personalized medicine.

New Leaf Venture Partners and Morningside Group made the investment.

The company said it would use the financing to support commercial expansion of its RNAscope-based products.
