Boingo Adds Encrypted Personal VPN

Los Angeles, California  --  Boingo Wireless (NASDAQ: WIFI) has encrypted, personal VPN capabilities to its Wi-Finder application for MacBook and Windows laptops.

The purpose of the capability is to help protect users from security exploit attempts in public Wi-Fi hotspots.

The VPN uses a customer's existing Boingo account and authenticates in one step. The service is free to all existing account holders.
