FedEx Launches Facebook Shipping Application

   Memphis, Tennessee  --  Shipping company FedEx (NYSE: FDX) has announced the launch of a new domestic shipping application inside Facebook.

Called FedEx Ship to Friends, the application that enables Facebook members to create and pay for a shipment and once a transaction is complete, they are emailed a PDF of the shipping label tracking number.

The app, which is available on desktop as well as mobile devices, also lets members communicate when they have shipped a package to the intended recipient.
