CeraPedics Lands $19 Million Series C Round

Westminster, Colorado  --  Medical device company CeraPedics has garnered $19 million in its third round of institutional venture capital and strategic investment.

CeraPedics is developing orthopedic bone substitutes to provide alternatives to autograft and recombinant bone growth factor products.

Investors in the round included MedImmune Ventures, OrbiMed Advisors and NGN Capital.

The company said it would use the proceeds to support its clinical trials.
