CloudVelocity Nets Series A Venture Capital

Santa Clara, California  --  IT company CloudVelocity has landed $5 million in its first institutional venture capital funding round.

CloudVelocity helps developers automate the processes required to deploy existing applications between traditional data centers and public clouds.

Mayfield Fund made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding to continue developing its automation software suite.
