RallyPoint Lands Seed Angel Investment

   Boston, Massachusetts  --  Internet social network RallyPoint said that it has received $1 million in additional Angel investment, bringing the total to $1.55 million in 2012.

RallyPoint, dubbed the "LinkedIN for the Military", has created a professional network for U.S. military service members to advance their careers within the Department of Defense.

Angel investors from Boston, Washington DC and London participated in the financing.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its member acquisition and institutional partnering efforts.

RallyPoint was founded by two Iraq War veterans, Yinon Weiss and Aaron Kletzing, and is headquartered in the Harvard Innovation Lab in Boston.
