Smartphones Eat Digital Cameras And Game Players

   Scottsdale, Arizona  --  ABI Research says that smart phones will continue to eat into market share from digital cameras and portable game players.

According to a Consumer Electronics Report, global shipments of handheld game players are expected to fall at least 4% year-over-year.

Digital cameras are expected to decline 11% year-over-year worldwide.

Although a subset of consumers will still look to digital cameras and handheld game players for their high-end experiences, smart phones continue to improve their mid range quality.
