Aerie Pharma Lands $3 Million VC Debt

   Bedminster, New Jersey  --  Aerie Pharmaceuticals has received $3 million in new venture capital debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Aerie is a biotechnology company that is developing new therapies for site-threatening diseases of the eye.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Aerie is still seeking $12 million in additional debt financing as part of the round, according to the filing.
