China Computer Market 2012 Characteristics

Beijing, China  --  Results from China's computer market in 2012 are out, in a recent report by CCID Consulting (HK: 08235).

Overall demand during the year is expected to finish below expectations, with aggregate growth rate estimated at 25.3%.

Tablets were a bright spot and maintained a high-growth rate of 10.6% year-over-year, after explosive growth in 2011.

Between desktop, laptop and tablet computers, total units sold is expected to exceed 64 million units in 2012.
