Ultra-Portable Computer Shipments To Grow In 2012

   London, UK  --  Research company ABI Research says that 21 million ultra-portable computers will ship globally by the end of 2012.

The report says that while the delay for Windows 8, a slow global economy and higher than expected device prices have reduced sales, the recent launch of Windows 8 and a number of newer models will help 2012 shipments rise to 21 million.

Ultra-portable computers are similar in form factor to Apple's MacBook Air.
