Altheos Adds To Series A Venture Capital Funding

   South San Francisco, California  --  Pharmaceutical company Altheos has added $12.5 million to its first institutional venture capital financing round.

Altheos is developing a next-generation eye drop treatment for glaucoma.

The company said it would use the financing to advance its lead candidate to phase 3 trials.

Bay City Capital, Canaan Partners, Novo A/S and others invested in the round.
