Checkpoint Surgical Collects $3 Million Financing

   Cleveland, Ohio  --  Medical device company Checkpoint Surgical has received $3 million in venture capital funding.

Checkpoint develops and sells medical devices that help locate, evaluate and protect nerves and muscles in surgical procedures.

NDI Medical lead the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the financing to support its sales and marketing initiatives as well as new product development.
