Novinda Receives Venture Capital Financing

Denver, Colorado  --  Advanced materials company Novinda has secured $6 million in series C round of institutional venture capital funding.

Novinda is commercializing a noncarbon, nonflammable sorbent material control mercury emissions in coal-fired utility boilers.

New Venture Partners and Altira Group made the investment.

The company said that the funding will help accelerate its market penetration.
