Wearable Devices Will Hit 90 Million Shipments In 2017

   London, UK  --  Wearable fitness and sports devices will reach 90 million shipments and 2017, according to a research report by ABI Research.

The report stated that the categories of sports, fitness and well-being applications will be an important engine of growth in the wearable and wireless healthcare market.

Recently launched wearable products by Nike, Adidas and Motorola are bringing previously high-end only items to a more affordable part of the market.

Home monitoring applications for assisted living and remote patient care will also see significant growth, according to the report.
