San Mateo, California  --  Internet video company Conviva said that it has received $15 million in its series D round of institutional and strategic venture capital investment.

Conviva has created what it calls its "Coordinated Video Distribution System" that it says reduces costs and improves quality of service for the distribution of video on the Internet.
