Foundation Capital Hires Twitter Exec As EIR

   Menlo Park, California  --  Venture capital firm Foundation Capital announced that it has hired Anamitra Banerji as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR).

Banerji was previously product manager at Twitter, where he assisted in the creation of the company's advertising platform and revenue engine.

He will focus his efforts at the firm on exploring the nexus of online collaboration and mobile technologies.

Foundation also said that Banerji is helping to launch Widescope, an online collaboration experiment at Stanford.
