Blip Adds $12 Million Venture Capital Financing

New York, New York  --  Digital media company Blip has secured $12 million in venture capital equity and debt financing.

Blip has developed an online service that enables individuals and businesses to upload, manage and distribute their digital videos.

Bain Capital Ventures and Canaan Partners made the investment.

The company said it would use the financing to "develop new tools and services for producers of independent web series."
