Visa Launches Financial Mobile Services Suite

   San Francisco, California  --  Payments processing company Visa (NYSE: V) has announced the launch of a suite of mobile services for US-based financial institutions.

Developed in collaboration with Monitise, the system will enable financial institutions to offer their customers the ability to monitor account history, transfer funds between accounts and receive transaction alerts on their mobile devices.

Utilizing its existing platform, Visa DPS, the suite of services will be fully managed by Visa.

The company said that additional services are currently in development and include NFC payments, mobile offers and support for its digital wallet service.
