FremantleMedia Signs Global Deal With Hulu

   Los Angeles, California  --  Bertelsmann-owned subsidiary FremantleMedia announced it has signed a global deal with online entertainment company Hulu.

The deal enables Fremantle to distribute Hulu's original series programming globally across all platforms including traditional media.

The companies said it was a "ground-breaking deal, which sets a new precedent for acquiring content that can live on both digital and linear platforms."

The first title to appear on the global market will be Morgan Spurlock's documentary series "A Day in the Life".
