Amplidata Adds $8 Million Third VC Funding

   Redwood City, California  --  Storage technology company Amplidata has received $8 million in series C round of institutional venture capital and strategic investment.
 
Amplidata has developed storage technology that it says is 10,000 times more reliable than current RAID-based technologies.





Intel Capital, Swisscom and others participated in the financing.

The company said it would use the financing proceeds to support further development of its global sales and support organization.
