St Jude Debuts Cardiac Mapping Software Upgrade

   St. Paul, Minnesota  --  Medical device manufacturer St. Jude Medical (NYSE: STJ) has announced the launch of the latest version of its electrophysiology software.

Called EnSite Velocity System Version 3.0, the software incorporates new features that are designed to help shorten procedure times for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures.

One such improvement is the OneModel tool, which promises to increase the physicians confidence in mapping data and reduces cardiac model creation time by up to 54%.

The EnSite Velocity System is used in minimally invasive electrophysiology procedures, is an open platform and can support the translation of results into eight non-English languages.
