Opscode Lands Third Venture Capital Investment

   Seattle, Washington  --  IT company Opscode has secured $19.5 million in series C round of institutional venture capital funding.

Opscode has created a systems integration and automation platform for cloud infrastructure services.




Ignition Partners led the round, which included previous investors Battery Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its engineering, sales, marketing and business development efforts.
