Neustar Opens Illinois Innovation Center

   Champaign, Illinois  --  Information technology company Neustar announced a partnership with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Under the agreement, the two parties will open an Innovation Center located at the University to help develop technologies related to fraud prevention, security and large-scale networking.

Concurrent with the announcement, Neustar said that it has appointed Ken Taylor, formerly of Yahoo's Right Media eXchange, as director of the center.

The group said it would focus on big data and data analytics for the remainder of 2012.
