Aragon Pharma Closes Third VC Financing

   San Diego, California  --  Aragon Pharmaceuticals announced that it has raised $42 million in its series C round of institutional venture capital and private equity investment.

Aragon is in development on a pipeline of new anti-endocrine therapies for the treatment of hormone resistant cancers.

Topspin Partners led the round, which included previous investors Aisling Capital, OrbiMed Advisors and The Column Group.

The company said it would use the financing to "execute on its promising pipeline in prostate cancer and breast cancer."
