Illumitex Lights Up With $9 Million VC

   Austin, Texas  --  Electronics company Illumitex has secured $9.3 million in new venture capital financing.

Illumitex sells solid-state lighting and precision beam packaged LEDs.




Investors in the round included New Enterprise Associates, Morgan Creek Capital Management, Apex Venture Partners, DFJ Mercury, Mousse Partners and Syngenta Ventures.

The company said it use the financing to continue to develop its lighting fixture product lines.
