BiddingForGood Debuts Smart Bidding Technology

Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Charitable e-commerce company BiddingForGood has announced the launch of a new technology for its service.

Called Smart Bidding, the service enables charitable auction bidders to use their mobile devices to participate in nonprofit auctions.

The purpose of the system is to "allow fundraisers to remove inefficiencies associated with the old-fashioned silent auction."

BiddingForGood says that it has raised more than $150 million since 2003 for nonprofits and schools.
