NewNet Enhances Mobile Payment Gateway

   Shelton, Connecticut -- Network infrastructure technology company NewNet Communication Technologies has announced the launch of a new enhanced mobile broadband payment gateway.

Called the AccessGuard 1000, the technology is delivered with off-the-shelf Intel-based servers running Linux and features specialized hardware accelerators to increase transaction speed throughput.

The platform is fully compliant with the PCI-DSS and DUKPT security and cryptography standards.

NewNet said it would demonstrate the full product suite at the Electronic Transaction Association exposition in Las Vegas, April 17 - 19, 2012.
