Axikin Pharmaceuticals Adds $2 Million New VC

   San Diego, California  --  Axikin Pharmaceuticals has secured $2 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Axikin is developing a portfolio of small molecules focused on treatments for allergic respiratory disorders and COPD.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Axikin is still seeking an additional $9 million in funding, according to the filing.
