Baltimore Launches Propane Autogas Taxi Fleet

   Baltimore, Maryland  --  The City of Baltimore is announcing the launch of a fleet of propane autogas-powered taxis.

Veolia Transportation is converting 300 of its fleet of nationwide taxis from gasoline to propane autogas, with 50 taxis in Baltimore expected to be converted by the end of 2012.

In addition to the benefits of lower emissions, the price of propane autogas is approximately $1 per gallon less than current gasoline prices.
