Akonni Bio Adds More Venture Capital Funding

   Frederick, Maryland  --  Biotechnology company Akonni Biosystems has secured $1.2 million in additional venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Akonni has created a line of diagnostic products for detection of human diseases and infectious agents.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
