Appcelerator Adds $3 Million Venture Capital Financing

   Mountain View, California  --  Software technology company Appcelerator has garnered $3 million in venture capital investment, according to a regulatory filing.

Appcelerator has created an open-source platform for building rich web applications.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Appcelerator is backed by a number of venture capital and strategic investors.
