Carnegie Speech Nets 2nd VC Funding

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Software technology company Carnegie Speech has landed $3.4 million in its series B round of venture capital investment.

Carnegie has developed what it calls "NativeAccent" technology that it licensed from the Carnegie Mellon University to assist in foreign language pronunciation.

Osage Ventures and others invested in the round.

The company will use the financing to continue to develop its products and technology.
