AirXpanders Adds $1 Million Additional VC

   Palo Alto, California  --  Medical device company AirXpanders as secured $1,080,000 in additional venture capital investment, according to an SEC filing.

AirXpanders has developed a "patient controlled breast tissue expander" for reconstructive surgery applications.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
