Birst Banks $26 Million Venture Capital Financing

San Francisco, California  --  Software technology company Birst has garnered $26 million in growth venture capital investment.

Birst sells a new generation of business intelligence tools that are potentially more powerful and user-friendly.




Sequoia Capital led the round, which included previous investors Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and DAG Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing for its growth initiatives.
