Big Switch Networks Touts Open SDN Architecture

   Palo Alto, California  --  Big Switch Networks announced that its open source Software Defined Networking system has recently completed interoperability testing.

Called Floodlight, the architecture enables customers to control greater amounts of network functionality via open source software.

Big Switch cited a number of technology companies such as HP, Dell, Brocade and Juniper networks as supportive of the architecture.
