Ambit Biosciences Banks $7 Million VC Funding

   San Diego, California  --  Biotechnology company Ambit Biosciences has received $7 million in new venture capital equity financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Ambit is developing small molecule kinase inhibitors for the treatment of cancer.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.

Ambit is still seeking $4.4 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
