AliveCor Accepts Second Venture Capital Investment

  San Francisco, California  --  Medical device developer AliveCor has garnered $10.5 million in series B round of institutional venture capital investment.

AliveCor has created a wireless heart monitoring ECG device for the Apple iPhone platform.

Investors in the round included Burrill & Company, Khosla Ventures, Qualcomm and others.

The company said it would use the funding to launch a commercialize its mobile ECG device.
