Biomedica Banks $12 Million Venture Capital Funding

   Brooklyn, New York  --  Biotechnology company Biomedica Management has received $11.9 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC filing.

Biomedica is developing treatments for liver inflammation and coagulation.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Biomedica is still seeking $2.3 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
