Equinix Launches Expansion Of Singapore Data Center

   Singapore  --  Global data center company Equinix (NASDAQ: EQIX) has announced the launch of the fourth phase of its second data center in Singapore.

Equinix said that it is investing US $28.5 million to expand the number of cabinets in the data center to 3,256 in response to customer demand driven by the growth in cloud services adoption.

Singapore is becoming a global IT hub and statistics from Gartner have shown that data center services spend has reached $10 billion in the region.
