O3b Networks Launches Marine Connectivity Solution

Jersey, Channel Islands  --  O3b Networks has announced the launch of a broadband solution for cruise ships and super yachts.

The new service will provide over 500 Mb per second in total bandwidth to a single vessel.

O3b Networks says that the system tracks a ship's course and deployed a dedicated, steerable beam to provide the high level service that also features 65 ms mouth-to-ear latency.
