Ablative Solutions Garners Series A Venture Capital

   Fair Haven, New Jersey  --  Medical device developer Ablative Solutions has landed $5.3 million in its first round of venture capital financing.

Ablative utilizes endovascular catheters to help treat hypertension and other diseases caused by an overactive sympathetic nervous system.

BioStar Ventures and the Michigan Accelerator Fund invested in the round.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
