Arstasis Secures $38 Million New Venture Capital

   Redwood City, California  --  Medical device company Arstasis has landed $37.8 million in new venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Arstasis is developing "innovative vascular access devices designed to provide better solutions for arterial closure in catheterization procedures."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.

Arstasis is still seeking $13.3 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
