Aptus Endosystems Lands Venture Capital Round

   Sunnyvale, California  --  Medical device company Aptus Endosystems has secured $25 million in new venture capital funding.

Aptus is developing a minimally invasive device for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Synergy Life Science Partners led the round, which also included U.S. Venture Partners and Longitude Capital Management.

The company said it would use the proceeds to expand commercialization of its HeliFX Aortic Securement System.
