Chute Raises Venture Capital Round

San Francisco, California  --  Mobile technology company Chute has garnered $2.7 million in new financing.

Chute says that its goal is to "serve, route, or analyze every photo and video on the Web."

Freestyle Capital led the round, which also included Battery Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners, Salesforce and others.

Proceeds purposes were not disclosed.
